Social program on support of prisoners is a new direction of Caritas activity. Imprisoned receive spiritual support from priests and psychological and material help from Caritas staff. In addition, Caritas provides material, spiritual and psychological help to women-prisoners and their children. Such complex approach in solution of current problems of imprisoned and providing support in further normalization of their life after discharge became more and more prevailing in Caritas-Ukraine.
